Torino Fashion Match: EEN Business Contact Event in Italy
On June 29 - July 1 Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts invited Lithuanian companies and designers operating in fashion and textile sector to participate in Torino Fashion Match 2019 that was held during Torino Fashion Week.
The International Business Contact event aims to help Lithuanian and foreign companies working in the field of fashion and textile to find new business partners and discuss potential cooperation opportunities.
Over 200 participants from 31 countries have registered to attend the B2B event in Torino, with more than 600 meetings scheduled.
Lithuania was represented by companies and designers from Vilnius and Alytus: Textera UAB – a clothing manufacturing company providing high quality fashion, leisure and sports clothing sewing services (http://www.textera.lt), Kuz Design Agency (www.madebykuz.com), designer Simona Motejuniene, creating handmade wavy leather handbags and accessories for SI Case brand (https://www.facebook.com/pg/SIcasebags/ http://www.banguota.lt) and designer Agne Krasauskaite creating shoes and handbags for bright personalities (http://agneskrasauskas.eu/).
Lithuanian representatives were glad to join the event and expressed their thank for this opportunity provided by the Enterprise Europe Network to establish new contacts, see collections and the latest fashion trends, introduce and present themselves.
“Meetings have been very useful and will help to expand and develop my business in the future. It is great that such events are organized as it makes it much easier to find business partners. And the city of Torino is fascinating! I am very excited I have visited”, - designer Agne Krasauskaite shared her impressions after the event.
UAB Textera has already participated in the Enterprise Europe Network contact event in Amsterdam this year. As the company's director Ramune Zemeniene expressed herself, “this time we felt much more self-confident. Therefore, the meetings were much more productive. After Torino we returned home not only with tasks, but also with invitations to visit designers on the spot. We are really glad that there are such opportunities for SME business growth”.
Deimante Vilcinskaite, Export Development Manager at Vilnius Chamber accompanied the Lithuanian representatives to Torino. She also had several meetings with potential partners and represented young designers, interested in organic fabrics, leather and accessories suppliers and boutiques in Switzerland, Italy and Canada that were interested in Lithuanian designers’ products.
The 4th business contact event Torino FashionMatch was organized by the Enterprise Europe Network partner UnionCamere Piemonte in Italy and Vilnius PPAR contributed to its co-organization.
