Lithuanian companies at EU FashionMatch 8.0 and Modefabriek in Amsterdam
On January 20-21, 2019, Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts invited Lithuanian companies operating in fashion and textile sector to participate at the event EU FashionMatch held in Amsterdam. The B2B meetings were held during the Modefabriek international exhibition.
Participation in international business contact events helps Lithuanian and foreign companies to find new business partners and discuss potential cooperation possibilities.
More than 200 participants from 25 countries registered to participate in the EU FashionMatch contact event. Lithuania was represented by companies from Alytus, Kaunas and Vilnius: UAB Textera – a newly-founded clothing manufacturer provides quality sewing services of fashion, leisure and sports clothing (https://www.facebook.com/TexTeraUAB/), UAB Balticum Virtus represented the lingerie brand Fearless and Fun Lingerie and focuses on creating private collections (https://www.faflingerie.com/), and MB Pakabos Namai, the designer and producer of exclusive handbags of the brand Pakaba House (http://pakabahouse.com/).
The founder of the brand Pakaba House Oksana Pavlova excitedly recounted that “the B2B meetings in Amsterdam ran smoothly, we certainly received valuable contacts with whom we have already established the connections and hope to start cooperation. We have also met with agents who are interested in exclusive brands.”
The company UAB Textera was sincerely grateful to the Chamber for shared information and the opportunity to participate in the EU FashionMatch 8.0.
“The visit was truly very successful, we had 14 meetings. Customers were very positive and tended to cooperate. Now everything will depend on us and how well we do our homework. We received the tasks and are exploring, counting and preparing the proposals,”- commented the company's director Ramunė Žemėnienė upon return from the B2B event.
The Lithuanian companies’ visit to Amsterdam was also joined by the Chamber's Export Development Manager Deimantė Vilčinskaitė who helped to coordinate the meetings.
While the partners of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Netherlands organized the 8th EU FashionMatch in Amsterdam, Vilnius Chamber contributed to its co-organisation.
